[CV Block Leaders] Soggy Spring Sweep

Hi everyone,
 
So it seems that Saturday did not go as planned. We were out with our
supplies for only a few hours before the torrential rains fell and we had to
pack up. I'm disappointed because I know a lot of you were looking forward
to the day as a time to connect with your neighbors and discuss plans for
block projects this spring and summer. And it would have been the perfect
opportunity, had the weather cooperated! I was hoping to see those of you
who braved the forecast, but by the time I was released from the table it
was raining so hard that most everyone had gone inside.
 
So now we are in the place of moving ahead even though that opportunity fell
through, and brainstorming for ideas of how to better connect with neighbors
and work for positive growth on each block. There is a block leader meeting
coming up on May 4th, at 7pm at FutureCare. Please come out and we can talk
about where to go from here. I know a lot of you have ideas already, and it
would be great for us to share and brainstorm together.
 
And, of course, many of you will be at the Luau Party this Saturday! If you
plan to come, please be sure I have your RSVP! (3-6pm at the VLP on April
29th)
