[CV Block Leaders] Proposed Juvenile Center Meeting

Hello everyone,

As you may know, the state has proposed to put a new Juvenile Reporting
Center at 2920 Greenmount Avenue. I have attached some information to this
email about the center. The state says that it will serve no more than 15
children at a time, but this new space has capacity for quite a few more.
The state is holding a "Public Hearing" on Monday evening, the same time as
our block leader meeting.

If this is an issue that is important to you, please talk to some of your
neighbors about it and ask them to attend. There should be opportunity to
ask questions at this meeting.

I encourage all of you to attend the block leader meeting. This is a great
opportunity to network with neighbors to have all meetings attended so that
you can share information with each other later. The Harwood, Abell and
Waverly neighborhoods may organize against this facility, and I will keep
you updated on that effort.
